Handmade drone tape loops, pre-recorded with sustained tones and slow-moving textures designed for ambient and experimental music. Each drone tape loop is unique — no two are identical — built using Type II Chrome tape and tested before shipping.
Drone Tape — What’s Included
These drone tape loops work with cassette decks, walkmans, portastudios and four-track recorders. Load one up and you have an instant bed of evolving texture — ideal as a foundation layer for ambient compositions, sound installations and electroacoustic performance.
Each drone tape loop is handmade in Wexford, Ireland and shipped worldwide.
The red and black tape is 60 mins (30 mins per side)
The random shells vary in length from C60 – C120
This Tape has a synthesizer drone (in C) tracked across both sides with slightly different slowly modulating textures per side
As used by Artists such as Allesandro Cortini (NIN) and John Francis Flynn, these Tapes are a dream to add to your soundscape. I play Tapes like these live, pitching them in real time to sit with other Musicians.
These will work in both 4-track and 2-Track (Stereo) Tape Machines.
